  1. Painful sex can be from a myriad of different issues. Sometimes it originates in the vagina and can be from something as simple as a yeast infection, but can also be from something as complex as stress and pelvic floor tension leading to pain in the vagina.

  2. Sometimes the pain is coming from the pelvic area. That might be from conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts. Our job at Westside Women's Health is to try to first figure out what kind of pelvic pain with sex or pain with sex you're having, and then to figure out how to remedy or treat it. We can definitely do that for you, but it can't be done without a thorough history, physical, probably a pelvic ultrasound.

  3. I have great success in treating this problem for women, but it really does take time and a good thorough conversation first.
