Ovarian cysts can be complex and problematic for many women. Sometimes an ovarian cyst can be very large and a woman may not even know she has one, but other times a woman may feel pelvic pain, and she may even have some hormonal changes due to hormones that are being secreted by the cyst. Rarely, or infrequently I should say, an ovarian cyst can have precancerous or even cancerous characteristics.
Our job at Westside Women's Health is to figure out what's going on and whether your ovarian cyst is a problem that needs immediate attention. Most often, these ovarian cysts will resolve on their own and are just part of the natural ovulation process. But if they become more complex, we're here to guide you and take care of you.
