Uterine fibroids are rarely cancerous, but can be, so we do always keep that in mind when we're evaluating a woman. But most importantly, they can contribute to abnormal heavy bleeding or fertility problems, depending on where they're located.
At Westside Women's Health, what we pride ourselves on doing is explaining exactly where your fibroids are and whether they are of medical consequence to you. If so, we will then guide you through the right steps to treat and manage them so that they aren't a problem in your life anymore.
